METHOD
We at Innovative Solutions (henceforth IS) encourage small groups
for learning. Ideally these groups should have 6 to 10 students. A
small group ensures active participation from all students. The
greatest advantage is that small groups require active
participation from all students. People from different
nationality, age and career mix here for the courses and this
mingling helps them to remove any fear of speaking Thai in public.
At IS we use the tested and proven method of “immersion” training.
This method was originally developed to help the missionaries gain
language fluency in real quick time. But now the course has been
developed over the years and adapted to meet the needs of the
present-day students. From day I students speak Thai. Whatever be
their competence level, the students are encouraged to speak Thai
as much as possible. This is applicable even during the break
time. So very often you will hear two students speaking to each
other not in their native language but in Thai. With so much
diversity in schools, Thai eventually becomes the preferred spoken
language.
